I'm Joanna, an official Canary Islands guide, and since 2017 I've been in love with El Hierro. I was born in the mountains of the Czech Republic, where from a young age I was fascinated by adventure and discovering hidden corners. That curiosity led me to study tourism in Poland and England, although my professional path began in another world: I worked for 12 years in credit and auditing, until life showed me my true passion.

Today, my compass always points towards the trails of the Canary Islands. My goal is clear: to spend the least amount of time in front of a screen and the maximum amount walking, breathing, sharing, and teaching the natural and cultural treasures of this unique archipelago.

I love guiding people who are looking for more than just a hike. With me, every route is an intimate, authentic, and enriching experience. We don't just walk: we connect with the land, its history, its silences, and its legends. And we do it with respect, curiosity, and joy.
