EXPERIENCE EL HIERRO WITH ALL 5 SENSES
UNIQUE ACTIVITIES IN
EL HIERRO
I experience El Hierro with passion and the desire to share its magic with every traveler. For me, the island is not just a place, but a way of life made up of landscapes, stories, and emotions that are discovered step by step.
I recommend exploring my hiking routes in El Hierro and other Canary Islands with the German tour operator Wikinger Reisen.
A 15-day trip with hikes around the island and visits to interpretation centers and museums. It takes place every year during the spring and autumn months.
The hikes last an average of 5 hours, with elevation gains of between 400 and 700 meters, over rugged terrain that may include long and steep ascents and descents. Good physical condition and safe walking skills are required.
A 9-day adventure, designed for small groups of up to 18 people, which takes place every year at the end of the calendar.
It includes medium-length hikes (between 4 and 5 hours) with an average elevation gain of 400 meters. The route passes through varied terrain and is designed for people with a normal level of fitness.
A 10-day trip, with a maximum of 14 participants, which takes place several times a year between September and May.
The hikes have an average duration of 6 hours and feature elevation changes of up to 1,000 meters.
Good physical condition and experience on long routes with frequent, prolonged ascents are required. The rugged terrain demands confident walking and adequate physical fitness.
A 10-day cultural trip, for a maximum of 20 people, in which we not only explore the island on foot, but also visit numerous museums, interpretation centers, an experimental farm, conduct wine tastings, among other activities.
It's a perfect experience to feel the island in your legs and, at the same time, learn as much as possible.
The trip takes place six times a year and includes moderately long hikes (between 4 and 5 hours), with an average elevation gain of 400 meters. The route covers varied terrain and is designed for people in average physical condition.
Tenerife offers ideal weather conditions for hiking year-round. On challenging trails, we'll discover the authentic Tenerife, far from mass tourism. The rugged Sierra de Teno with its picturesque villages, the Roque de los Brezos in the sunny south, and the panoramic view of Mount Teide from the summit of Guajara are just some of the highlights of our active week.

An 8-day adventure in northern Tenerife, designed for small groups of up to 18 people.
Medium-length hikes (between 4 and 5 hours) with an average elevation gain of 400 meters. The route passes through varied terrain and is designed for people with a normal level of fitness.
I also love working in Lanzarote, because of the contrast it offers compared to El Hierro.
Despite having a lot of mass tourism, Lanzarote offers many beautiful walks and varied landscapes.
Here's an example of an 8-day trip to Lanzarote with me.
La Gomera: an island so similar to, and yet so different from, El Hierro.
I love working in La Gomera with hiking groups, and this 8-day trip is designed for a maximum of 20 people who want to enjoy a luxury hotel, go on easy hikes, taste wines and participate in workshops, such as one on green mojo sauce.
La Palma is considered the ideal Canary Island for hiking: its diverse landscapes make the Isla Bonita a paradise for hiking and trekking.
Precisely because of the scarcity of black sand beaches in La Palma, Isla Bonita remains a favorite destination for hikers and nature lovers.
